If you don't have a lot of time but want to experience a slot canyon, just drive about 11 miles up the Burr Trail (all paved) from Hwy 12 in Boulder. You'll see a turnout on the left and the slot canyon is right there by the side of the road. A previous reviewer has already posted photos of this spot.
